Cleantec receive CleanSeal approval

Cleantec Innovation has announced that they are now CleanSeal certified and will be carrying this mark of quality on their products.

The CleanSeal certification is a brand-new testing and accreditation programme, underwritten by the Woolsafe organisation, and is for cleaning products which are suitable for use on carpets and fabrics made from synthetic fibres. Cleantec already have Woolsafe approved carpet and upholstery cleaning products.

The CleanSeal certification applies to the Pro 40 Envirodri Microsponges, Pro 41 Envirodri Spot Remover, Pro 42 Envirodri Spot Remover Wipes, and Pro 43 Envirodri Pre- Cleaner.

The products were awarded with the certification on 1

September 2018, and meet a long list of strict testing criteria to ensure safety, quality and performance. They are guaranteed to have industry standard performance for their intended purpose, with no adverse effect on colour or re-soiling, are within safe pH limits, and are non-hazardous with no other safety-related issues.

Justin Chant, Design and Marketing Manager at Cleantec, said: “Cleantec Innovation strive to manufacture products which provide a positive impact on both environment and cleaning performance and we are delighted to receive the new certification. We are committed to maintaining professional quality standards which underpin our ability to supply highly effective, professional products that meet the daily demands experienced in the cleaning industry.”

Golf tournament raises £1,500 for RNIB

Members of the cleaning industry have raised more than £1,500 at the CHSA’s annual Pro-Am Golf Tournament for the RNIB.

Combining this with the money raised earlier in the year at the Gala Ball, the CHSA has generated approximately £10,000 for the RNIB this year.

Stephen Harrison, Chair of the CHSA, explained: “Generating funds for charity is an important part of our ethos. Always popular, our Pro-Am Golf tournament and annual Gala Ball are the foundation for our fundraising; between them we raise tens of thousands of pounds every year. We’re delighted this year is no different.”

The tournament took place at Rockliffe Hall near Darlington, www.tomorrowscleaning.com

with outstanding support from the staff. The successful partnership with the Yorkshire Professional Golf Association continued, with John Wells and Aran Wainright making sure a professional played with every team and so was on hand to provide expertise and advice throughout the course.

Greyland’s Richard Dyson added: “It was a superb day. Great location, lovely hotel and a tough (but fair) golf course. Special praise to all the staff at Rockliffe Hall, each of whom was very polite and courteous.”

The winning team came from Scott Janitorial and comprised Keith Airey, Scott Bullough and Ross Bullough, all supported by the pro player, Peter Robinson. A team from Metsa came second and the RPC Bpi Recycled Plastics team came third. Duncan Bullough, also from Scott Janitorial, won Best Amateur Player.
