Crown estate contract goes to
Principle London-based Principle Cleaning Services has been awarded a three-year contract with BNP Paribas Real Estate.
Principle will provide cleaning, window cleaning, pest control, waste management and washroom services to The Crown Estate St James’ Portfolio, which comprises 34 buildings of office, retail and restaurant space.
BNP Paribas Real Estate are the managing agents for The Crown Estate and ensure a full TFM remit across all its sites, including cleaning, security and hard services.
Principle is working in partnership with BNP Paribas and BPR, Principle’s recycling provider, with a goal to further improving recycling rates across the St James’s portfolio through a unique waste management scheme.
This includes removing bags from streets to improve the image of the area, reducing vehicle numbers and emissions (all vehicles are electric), consolidation of waste, improving services to customers by offering competitive pricing and free recycling advice, and accurate reporting via a live portal.

This has taken them just over four months, since the National Charity agreement started in September.

Partnership shortlisted for
prestigious award TC Facilities Management (TCFM) has reached the finalist stages of the Corporate Social Responsibility category in the CSSA Awards 2019.
This is in recognition of their work with the British Heart Foundation (BHF), the charity that conducts research into heart and circulatory diseases and their causes. The winners will be announced at an invitation-only lunch event taking place during the Cleaning Show 2019 on Wednesday 20 March, in London.
