In the development of our new retail brand, we’ve taken a completely different approach – putting the customer at the centre of everything we do and looking to really stand out on the shelf. We think the bottles look attractive, fun and inviting, proving that recycled PCR plastic does not need to have an ‘institutional’ look and feel – and we hope you will like them too.


As part of this journey, we’ve invested in new bottle moulds that help tell the tale of recycled plastic and ‘bring the story alive’, keeping it front of mind with the user.


The line-up of seven retail products mirrors consumer need alongside top selling SKUs with Hand Soap, Washing Up Liquid, Kitchen Sanitiser and Cleaner, Multi-Purpose Cleaner and Toilet and Limescale Cleaner.


And of course, we will be supporting the new retail range with significant investment into promotional support, in order to drive awareness, encourage adoption and understanding of the benefits of using 100% PCR recycled plastic packaging. This promotional will include a new (and easy to navigate) website, which will also provide a purchasing platform and e-commerce ability, for easy access to procurement.


Alongside our trade customers – now the domestic market has the ability to be part of a 100% closed loop solution.


Roaring trade


The Delphis Eco range of retail products is a major step forward for the market and we are confident this retail exposure will also drive awareness and traffic to trade platforms.


We have also listened to our trade customers over the years, and alongside our retail launch, have taken the opportunity to re-energise our range in terms of formats and bottle sizing and refresh our branding. For example, what was formerly presented in a 750ml bottle will be served in 700ml. 1 litre products will now be served in a 750ml bottle.


And, as we move deeper into 2019, we will be increasing our communication of the great ways of using Delphis Eco and how we can work closer together as business partners. We know our range can help your business grow, and improve sustainability credentials, with no loss of effectiveness and whilst comfortably aligning to your customers’ own beliefs.


For us, it is all about ‘making more possible’ and working with our customers – whether trade or domestic, to achieve just that. What may seem to be a Mission Impossible can only be made Mission Possible by manufacturers following suit and by trade and domestic customers voting with their pockets.


If Delphis Eco as a small player can achieve 100% recycled PCR packaging, just imagine what the larger brands can achieve. And, with a 70% carbon saving repurposing PCR versus using virgin plastic there are additional benefits that we hope will encourage early adoption across those brands which are currently lagging behind.


Not least, on a personal level, I want to be able to eat fish without consuming what is estimated to be (on average), around eight pieces of plastic in that fish. By leading from the front, and by working together – we can make that dream a reality.
