CHSA Seeks New Chair
The CHSA is influential in the cleaning & hygiene industry, driving standards, collaborating with partners and bringing members together. We are seeking a new Chair to work with our Governing Council to set the strategy and lead the Association into the next phase of our development.
The Chair will have:
• A comprehensive background in the cleaning & hygiene industry. • A vision for the Association in line with our objectives. • The ability to work flexibly.
• A desire to uphold the integrity of the cleaning and hygiene industry and be an ambassador for the CHSA and its members.
The new Chair will also have unquestionable integrity, be respected within the industry and ideally be a volunteer.
The role:
• Ensure the CHSA adds value to members’ businesses. • Listen to members and evaluate support from the CHSA to meet their needs. • Ensure the Accreditation Schemes are fit for purpose and evolve as the industry develops. • Support and offer guidance to the Scheme Chair and Independent Inspector. • Ensure members adhere to the Code of Practice. • Manage the membership process, without bias.
• Ensure the Association operates on a sound financial basis and operates professionally and in compliance with legal obligations.
• Oversee the marketing programme. • Represent the CHSA in the cleaning and hygiene sector at industry events.
