Atlas London secures Royal Borough of

Kensington and Chelsea contract Atlas London has been awarded a five-year soft services contract by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, reinforcing its position as a trusted provider of high-quality cleaning and support services in England’s capital.

Spanning 32 sites across the borough, the agreement covers a comprehensive range of services, including daily office cleaning, deep cleans, feminine hygiene, window cleaning, confidential waste management, consumable provision, graffiti removal and reactive pest control.

Martin Fitch, Managing Director of Atlas London, said: “We are delighted to have been selected by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea for this important contract. Our team’s dedication, combined with our investment in sustainable technologies to drive best value, will support us to provide best-in-class services throughout the historic borough.”

The contract builds on Atlas London’s previous experience in the borough, having worked on-site for several years.

This familiarity, coupled with a strong reputation for service excellence, played a key role in the client’s decision to appoint Atlas directly. A key innovation in this contract is the deployment of new innovations that reflect both partners’ commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency.

Ashok Stephen, Workplace Operations Manager, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, commented: “We are pleased to appoint Atlas London as our soft services provider across the borough. Their commitment to helping us provide a quality service to our residents, and their focus on sustainability and innovation, made them the ideal partner for this contract. We look forward to a collaborative relationship that supports the high standards expected across our estate.”

The contract is for an initial five-year term with the potential for further extensions, highlighting the long-term value of a stable partnership. Atlas is employing more than 110 staff members on the contract, providing a real boost to employment in the local area.

Paragon awarded EcoVadis Gold Status

Paragon, a UK provider of advanced cleaning products and solutions, has been awarded Gold status by EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings and Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) compliance solutions.

This recognition places Paragon in the top 5% of companies assessed globally, reflecting outstanding performance across four key areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. The business also ranks in the 98th percentile worldwide, and within the top 1% of companies in its industry sector.

In just two years, Paragon has progressed from no formal rating to achieving Bronze in 2024 – and now Gold in 2025 – a clear reflection of its ambition and a testament to the company’s rapid progress and deep-rooted commitment to responsible business practices.

Jorden Clay, Group General Manager at Paragon, said: “Achieving EcoVadis Gold is a proud moment for Paragon and a clear signal of the direction we’re heading as a business. Sustainability is no longer a bolt-on; it’s built into how we operate, how we make decisions and how we support our customers.

“This award recognises the ambition and dedication of our team, whose efforts have helped us raise our standards, challenge ourselves and do things the right way.”

The EcoVadis assessment is increasingly recognised by customers, procurement teams and regulators as a trusted benchmark for sustainability performance.

Gold status strengthens Paragon’s position as a responsible, reliable supplier to the transport, industrial, facilities and public sectors – and follows the company’s recent expansion into a new state-of-the-art facility at Broombank Road in Chesterfield, designed to improve operational efficiency and support sustainable growth.
