In many cases, what Twister does may seem like magic. The science behind a brilliant Twister floor is however based on in-depth knowledge of diamond technology and comes from years of R&D, tweaking, testing and optimising products to make sure that the Twister pads produce superb results out of the box – no extra measures.
But seriously, how does it work?
The Twister cleaning pads are based on a flexible, nonwoven material that has been impregnated with billions of microscopic diamonds. The diamonds in the pads mechanically dissolve the dirt and simultaneously micro- polish the floor. This leaves a smooth surface behind. In the long run, this means dirt will no longer get lodged into pores and scratches in the floor.
In other words, the longer Twister is being used in daily cleaning, the easier the floors will be to keep clean. Any irregularities in the surface are simply polished away, making the floor itself more dirt resistant over time. This is also why Twister makes the biggest difference in daily cleaning. Consistency and staying with the program is key to producing lasting results.
The reason behind this is that the surface will only stay smooth as long as the diamonds in the Twister pads maintain the high gloss and dirt-resistant surface. As soon as chemicals and traditional scrubbing pads are reintroduced in the daily routines, the surface starts to deteriorate.
Now what about some nice spin-off
effects? Staying focused on routines that create a surface that repels dirt, rather than attracts it, also has some nice spin-off effects. One of these is a prolonged lifespan of the floor. How?
Well, when a floor no longer deteriorates, less aggressive methods are needed to maintain cleanliness. If daily cleaning preserves high quality results for longer periods of time without the need for deep cleaning, restoration or renovation procedures, the floor will simply last longer. And as already established, the smoother the floor surface, the

easier the floor will be to clean. A smooth floor, combined with a chemical free routine therefore also means less wear on the cleaning pad itself – meaning the lifespan of the pad is also prolonged. It’s a win-win-win situation and the benefits keep lining up.
No more money down the drain
It’s obviously easy to lock on price per unit for supplies as a target for cost savings, but since the Twister methods are completely chemical free, cost savings won’t stop at just eliminating costs related to purchases of chemical consumables. Savings can be seen across the line related to eliminating storage costs for chemicals, transportation and handling of the chemicals and waste handling of all chemical-related waste.
Obviously all dosing problems involving chemicals are also eliminated. This means the cleaning staff and floors stay safe and healthy. Why should anyone handle chemicals when there’s no need for them? A good routine should eliminate unwanted risks. This is exactly what Twister accomplishes.
So where does this leave us?
Simply with the question: why use complex methods, add costs, and create unwanted risks for the environment, employees and visitors, when there is a better way? If you want to make sure to end up with consistent, great results – make the process as simple as possible. We think daily cleaning without chemicals is as clean and as easy as it gets.
