The new tableware range is available in six colours: white, grey, cream, midnight blue, burgundy and black, and the placemats have an anti-slip coating that keeps them in place on the table. The existing range of Tork LinStyle Napkins comprises 17 colours.
Enhancing the dining experience
Tork manufacturer Essity is helping to improve the diner’s restaurant experience by expanding its range of Tork LinStyle tableware.
New products added to the assortment are table runners, banqueting rolls, slip covers and placemats – all of which complement Essity’s existing Tork LinStyle napkins.

Cordant Services has secured a three-year extension to continue providing a full portfolio of cleaning solutions to Eurotunnel.
This new contract further strengthens the long-standing relationship between the two organisations, who have worked together since 2008.
Under the terms of the new agreement, Cordant Services will continue to deliver a wide-range of solutions at the Folkestone passenger terminal – otherwise known as the Victor Hugo Building – and additional office space, including general and high-level cleaning, washroom services and window cleaning, plus emergency cleans as required.
Since 2015, Cordant Services has also taken responsibility for scanning passenger passports before sending the information to the Home Office for analysis. The team works to strict scanning targets with a key objective of not causing any delays to passenger journeys.

Besides enhancing the look of the restaurant table, Tork Linstyle products can also improve how dishes taste, adds Jeremy. He claimed: “Research shows that colours surrounding a dish can significantly affect taste perception. In
fact, we have teamed up with expert food stylist and chef Linda Lundgren to create a brochure on food and colour pairing to illustrate this fact.”
According to Linda, tableware in rich reds, corals and burgundy will enhance a product’s sweetness whereas midnight blue and aqua colours remove some of the saltiness from a dish. And when teamed with gold, mustard and orange-coloured products, the tartness of food items is enhanced.
Jeremy concluded: “Tork Linstyle is a great addition to our restaurant offering while also adding value to our portfolio. The new products will allow us to offer a complete package to restaurants including surface wipes and cleaning cloths in the kitchen; hygiene products in the washroom, and tableware in the restaurant.”

The contract will continue to be fulfilled by a dedicated team of 35 operatives supported by an on-site management team.
