CONTRACT CLEANING

The winter months can be a testing time in any office or workplace so it’s an ideal time to address employee wellbeing. Creating a healthy and comfortable working environment can have a significant impact on productivity, with higher staff morale and fewer days off.

A recent study by economist Dr Eugenio Proto of the University of Warwick’s Department of Economics and Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy (CAGE) demonstrated a direct causal link between wellbeing and corporate performance, concluding that an investment in employee wellbeing ultimately benefits business, and this is something that Cleanology is taking very seriously and is starting to form its entire service proposition around.

“We see the bigger

picture and our team is passionate about helping our clients’

people enjoy their time in the workplace, work smarter and improve their wellbeing.”

Enhancing staff morale is critical in attracting and retaining talent, and as awareness of employee wellbeing begins to take centre stage, choosing a cleaning partner becomes ever more relevant. At Cleanology, our proven approach to cleanliness through the use of the latest scientific and technological tools is the first step to creating workplace wellbeing, and its impact is proving very cost-effective for our clients.

At the core of Cleanology’s approach is the confidence that science and technology can help us all do a better job. It means our operational teams have a competitive advantage and our clients’ businesses become happier and more productive places to work.

A vast amount of industry-led investment is currently being channelled into R&D to develop exciting new cleaning products, and companies that embrace innovation, like Cleanology, are riding the wave of technological change and

quickly gaining market advantage. We believe that science, technology and innovation are the keys to unlocking the future success of the cleaning industry and we are committed to playing our part in this story.

We love the science behind cleaning and our team has the skills and know-how to find new ways to enhance the broader impacts of our work. We see the bigger picture and our team is passionate about helping our clients’ people enjoy their time in the workplace, work smarter and improve their wellbeing. We call this workwellbeing™ and we are working with the UK’s leading wellbeing consultants to deliver this ground-breaking programme.

Seeing the bigger picture has helped us position Cleanology as a unique, creative and forward- thinking cleaning business. We have entered a significant growth period and our talented new sales and marketing team has already delivered a significant haul of new contract wins to the value of £700k.

Supported by our specially trained operations team, our ambitious plan is to double turnover by 2020. Our new Sales & Marketing Director, Andy de Sallis, has already lead the team to notable new business successes including 8 Northumberland, and ETC Venues prominent events venues, Benugo’s and Yo! Sushi restaurant outlets, Chancerygate, a commercial property company, and Queens Ice & Bowl leisure facility.

As we enter what has been termed the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Cleanology is ready for the step-change that is coming. Growing from our headquarters in Clapham, London, we now also have a Manchester base from where we can continue to serve a new generation of clients in the UK’s second-largest marketplace for cleaning and support services.

The UK’s most successful businesses recognise the value of using state-of-the-art products and tools, and that desire for the best extends to the services they employ. Today Cleanology is a top 50 UK cleaning and facilities management company with 500 staff and more than 300 largely blue-chip, prestigious clients across several sectors including corporate and financial, retail and leisure, and property.

Cleanology’s enthusiasm for providing top quality customer service and end-user/employee wellbeing means our clients also benefit and we grow together. We are using science, innovation and technology to enhance the workplace environment, and ultimately enhancing our clients’ productivity and profitability.
