Biovate Hygienics has pioneered the migration to sustainable cleaning products, using the power of nature’s biological cleaning actives. Its products are developed from the ground up, listening to the end user cleaners, dishwashers, and housekeepers to develop products that are good for the planet and those using them.

Biovate Hygienics’ biotechnology range are the next generation of cleaning products. Using a combination of probiotic, enzyme, and plant-based ingredients, they harness the power of nature for maximum cleaning performance with minimum impact on the planet.

Experts at the company, which launched earlier in 2022, developed biological-based cleaning products using probiotic bacteria that works at a high dilution (300:1), which hugely reduces waste.

The extensive Biovate range features floor and wall degreasers, washroom cleaners, multipurpose surface cleaners, bio cleaners and sanitisers, grease trap and drain maintainers, toilet cleaners and descalers, odour and air fresh neutralisers, carpet and fabric stain removers, foaming hand soaps, washing-up liquids, and salad wash.

Biovate Hygienics also places great emphasis on supplying its products in the lowest environmental impact packaging possible. In order for plastic to be recycled, it must be mixed with virgin plastic. A lower content of Post- Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic will allow material to be recycled again, which is the reason Biovate Hygienics

uses 30% plastic in its bottles. A further reduction of CO2 emissions by 25% is achieved by the responsible sourcing of cardboard packaging.

Some products in the Biovate range are fitted with trigger heads which are 33% PCR plastic with no metal parts, and are fully recyclable. Their use stops 7.5 tonnes of virgin plastic from entering the supply chain, with CO2

reduced by 13% and wastewater by 17%. emissions

Based in Towcester, Northants, Biovate Hygienics’ mission is to change the way Britain cleans by innovating at all times to drive both its products and the broader industry forward in a journey towards total sustainable cleaning. All of its products are also proudly 100% made in the UK. The company specialises in providing a service to housekeeping, hospitality, care, and general cleaning sectors.
