Phantas is an AI-powered floor cleaning robot that has been designed to fill the market void of floor cleaning robots for small and medium-sized commercial facilities. It incorporates all kinds of Gausium’s latest innovations and technology breakthroughs in fields like SLAM (simultaneous learning and mapping), machine learning, and cloud computing.


Phantas is presumed to be the most compact commercial floor cleaning robot the industry has ever seen. Its small size enables superior passability and enables cleaning in tight spaces, such as under-table areas and narrow aisles. Phantas integrates four floor cleaning modes: vacuuming; scrubbing and drying; sweeping; and dust mopping. This grants it unrivalled versatility for cleaning spaces with different flooring types. It can recognise different floor materials and autonomously adjust its cleaning mode in order to suit the specific material.


With advanced AI vision sensors, Phantas can identify waste on the floor and autonomously perform spot cleaning where the waste is detected. No longer will cleaning staff have to search and locate the spill or stains and manually walk their robot to the location to perform spot cleaning. Cleaning only where necessary, Phantas also brings up to a 400% efficiency improvement and significantly reduces consumption of water, energy, and chemicals.


Phantas detects static and dynamic obstacles from all directions and performs autonomous smart avoidance in real-time, generating collision-free paths within its workspaces. Phantas is powered by deep learning- based algorithms, and has been trained with millions of real-world pictures. It possesses robust obstacle recognition capability and makes behavioural decisions according to the types and features of obstacles it encounters e.g., it would drive around electric wires rather than passing directly over them.
