ToolSense helps facility service companies, who manage their equipment with Excel, WhatsApp, and paper, to digitise their asset management with one central Asset Operations Platform.
With ToolSense, facility service companies can digitise their complete fleet with QR codes, Bluetooth tags, and IoT (Internet of Things) trackers. Independent of brand and asset type – whether it’s a scrubber, a single-disc machine, a vacuum, or even a ladder. This way, facility services companies can track the location of their equipment, runtime, battery data, and get automated alerts if something goes wrong.
ToolSense was founded by Alexander Manafi, Benjamin Petterle, and Rostyslav Yavorskyi in 2017 in Vienna, Austria. The founders experienced the challenges facility service companies face managing equipment – and the associated safety and commercial processes. Today, ToolSense consists of more than 30 talented engineers, won the ‘INTERCLEAN Innovation Award e-Cleaning’, and partnered with more than 700 companies globally.
With the ToolSense QR code on the machine, any cleaner can report issues easily, go through automated first-level support in their native language, and even add a picture or video. All of that without a smartphone app or login required.
Site managers can escalate issues to the responsible supplier and furthermore take care of safety inspections such as PAT. They get notified of what checks they have to do and can do the inspection easily with the ToolSense app. The resulting PDF gets attached to the asset in ToolSense, and the next check is scheduled automatically.
The facility company’s management can use ToolSense, to easily see which machines are causing a lot of costs, which machines are under-utilised and could be deployed somewhere else, and which machine types cause a lot of problems. This way, with ToolSense, facility service companies reduce their equipment cost by up to 20% annually and save 100 hours per site manager.
