Robert Scott is one of the UK’s largest designers, manufacturers, importers, and stockists of cleaning products for the professional janitorial market, and is the only UK distributor of Toucan Eco cleaning systems.
Toucan Eco cleaning systems enable businesses to make an eco-friendly and safe disinfectant cleaner that’s produced on-demand from water, salt, and electricity. Its active compounds are hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and a low concentration of sodium hypochlorite (NaClO), which creates a powerful, safe solution, reducing the need for over 80% of synthetic chemical cleaners and the single-use plastic bottles they’re supplied in.
The solution is proven to kill up to 99.999% of germs and is certified to EN antiviral and antibacterial tests, including those for coronaviruses.
Toucan Eco’s technology is inspired by one of the most powerful microorganism repellent systems around: the human body. When we come under attack from invading bacteria and viruses, our immune system responds by sending white blood cells called neutrophils straight to the infection. Once activated, these cells produce HOCl, a potent and naturally occurring disinfectant. The same solution that’s now available on demand, in your care home.
Toucan Eco systems are available in a range of sizes depending on your business’ needs, from worktop units which produce 1L of activated solution at a time, to the larger Active Plus unit which is suitable for medium sized facilities. In one activation, which takes around 40 minutes, it produces 20L of disinfectant cleaner, which can be poured into bottles or buckets using either of the dilution dispensers. Toucan Eco also has a range of application accessories from recycled spray bottles to the new Toucan Eco Atomiser.
