Warrington-based Christeyns Food Hygiene has a 30+ year reputation for innovative, quality products, and is well known for its specialist hygiene product range and systems for the food, dairy, and beverage industries. It produces around 20m litres of hygiene products per year and employs 70+ staff. It was the first company awarded the BSI kitemark for hand sanitiser.
In-Site CIP (cleaning in place) is a specialist software package and service designed and developed by Christeyns Food Hygiene to provide detailed information, evaluation, and verification of CIP regimes.
The software sits behind existing control systems to provide high definition analysis of every aspect of the clean, using the signals already provided by the current systems in situ.
As well as providing verification and a high level of insight into your CIP, the software can be used to optimise each clean, leading to resource savings – water, energy, and chemicals — as well as returning equipment for production duties more quickly.
Recent analysis from a liquid milk customer in north west England showed just how much resources can be reduced by. Using In-Site CIP for both optimising cleaning regimes and providing verification of the efficacy of the cleans, over the period of a year, this client was able to save over 9000m3
of fresh water
and a chemical consumption of £46,000. On average, this optimisation will return an additional 72 hours of production time per week, or 374 additional production hours per annum.
