Voting for the Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards 2022 ended on Monday 21 March 2022, and we’re delighted to reveal to you the names of the products and services which came away with the most votes.
All the way back in December 2021, we revealed the shortlist for the 2022 Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards, a collection of the best products and services from across the industry that had graced our pages over the previous 12 months. More than just an annual event, this time it felt like a true celebration of our industry, which has been front and centre of the efforts to safely return to normal following the chaos of COVID-19.
Covering a wide variety of cleaning products and hygiene services, with everything from hand sanitisers to software and automation, our annual awards truly showcased the
TPA L XLERATORsync by Excel Dryer
Taking the top spot in the Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards 2022 is the XLERATORsync from Excel Dryer, which just edged it to the top spot after nearly three months of voting. The fully integrated high-performance washroom solution provides water, soap and air and incorporates XLERATOR technology so users can wash and dry their hands all in one location.
Simeon Barnes, Managing Director of Excel Dryer, said: “We’re delighted to have won this award, in a year with so many outstanding entries, that’s been voted for by the general public. DPLA Liberty SC60 by Nilfisk
Our first runner up this year goes to the mighty Liberty SC60 from Nilfisk, which came close to taking the top spot. The robotic scrubber dryer boasts the largest scrub deck on the market, along with top class runtime and a minimal requirement for downtime.
The SC60 has proved popular thanks to fantastic programmability, allowing operators to adapt the SC60 to any layout, in any environment, in a single run – without the need for an engineer to come out and help.

Throughout the public voting phase, we’ve kept an eye on voting numbers and watched as the closely-fought battle played out. It’s been hard to predict as the votes came crashing through in record numbers, with the results coming right down to the wire. Now with the voting closed and many thousands of votes counted and verified, we’re delighted to finally announce our winners:
