Welcome to The Water Cooler, where industry professionals gather to discuss all things FM.


Ever since the introduction of digitalised data presentation, the paperless office has been the utopian dream of office managers everywhere. Yet, in 2013, research suggests that only 1% of European businesses have successfully created a paperless environment. Despite that, Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt last month expressed his desire for the NHS to be paperless by 2018 – a move which could help save the health service billions of pounds a year.


We asked our panel: “What is your experience of paperless processes? Is the paperless business attainable and is it a good idea?”
