Roof coatings from 3M’s Infrastructure Protection Division have been instrumental in the completion of a prestigious project at Silverstone, home of the British Formula 1 Grand Prix. As part of an ambitious £27million pit and paddock development, known as ‘The Wing’, the Scotchkote Liquid Roofing System from 3M was selected for its seamless finish and optimum protection. The new building’s roof was a complex challenge, covering 9,700m² of both
flat and angled sections, and the client required a seamless covering to flow with the overall aesthetic of the new build.
