Desso’s innovative new line, ‘Visions of...’, is a unique, two-dimensional product that uses cutting edge production technology and powerful pattern design. The colour and flooring experience changes when viewed from different angles looking almost like a plain hard floor when seen across a larger area, but showing the pattern when up close.
This patented carpet tile product comes in a larger 100cm x 100cm tile and is available in three different designs; Visions of Flowers, Visions of Lines and Visions of Shards, all of which have been created to remove the anonymity that can afflict large spaces, helping them to create and communicate with their own unique identity. The pronounced patterns of Flowers, Lines and Shards are inspired by the use of patterns in art, fashion, architecture and interiors; used in subtle yet
striking ways. These designs all offer a unique blend of patented technology and unparalleled design. Visions of Flowers, for example, offers a pronounced floral pattern which is incorporated into the carpet tile design. A surprisingly abstract pattern is what gives Visions of Shards its distinctive look, whereas the inspiration for Visions of Lines comes from linear elements in monumental architectural design. Desso has also received a ‘red dot* product design’ award for its ‘Visions of...’ carpet line, cementing its status in the industry.

NEW CARPETS FOR SHELTERED HOUSING

carpet selected for the top floor of the development, 476m² of Indigo colour carpets fitted on the first floor and 450m² of Claret colour carpets installed on
the ground floor. The project was completed with Heckmondwike’s award winning Battleship entrance matting, chosen in a Pebble colour, to create an
attractive and practical entrance detail.
Brain Court is a sheltered housing facility in Swindon, operated by the Southern Housing Group. It offers 57 self contained flats, each equipped with emergency Careline cords, monitored by wardens 24 hours a day.
