Commitment to a

SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

Has been an integral part of our company ethos for generations. Working with our employees, communities, suppliers and customers, we continue on our sustainability journey.

What does sustainability mean to you as a business?

As a business with over 225 years of heritage, commitment to a sustainable future has been an integral part of our company ethos for generations. Our past continues to shape our future; as we evolve, grow and innovate we’re able to draw on a rich history of expertise to continuously reduce our impact on the planet. Engineered to last, the performance of our products is something our customers can always rely on, as well as the reassurance of buying from a responsible and trustworthy manufacturer.

raw materials, carefully sourcing them from a responsible supplier before maximising their use and minimising their waste. For example: 100% of dry process clay is recycled through the factory; wastewater is cleaned through a centrifuge system to be reused in the manufacturing process; and 100% of unused glaze is cleaned down for reuse, as well as to prevent pollution. Churchill also ensures that only recyclable packaging is passed on to customers and 100% of the electricity used on site is now from a renewable source too. While we continuously improve our manufacturing processes to be safer for the planet, our products are also designed to ensure longevity and stand the test of time.
