Steelite’s RCR Crystal glassware range is manufactured by the RCR Cristalleria Italiana factories in the Province of Siena, situated in Tuscany. Thanks to the local government’s awareness of high environmental standards, in 2014, the Province of Siena became the first large-scale land area within Europe to obtain official certification confirming Net Zero CO2 emissions.
RCR Cristalleria has continuously strived to do good for people and the environment, utilising product innovation, energy management and continuous training. This creates an approach to manufacturing that helps build a sustainable future.

With a philosophy of creating unique and innovative beverageware solutions, RCR Cristalleria brings together traditional glassmaking techniques with sustainable, state-of-the-art ultra-clear crystal glass compliant with ethical and environmental standards.

Their factory allows for innovation and agility in manufacturing and is capable of using 3 technologies in a single site to offer its consumers blown, pressed, and bottled products. All products are made of Eco- Crystal, a material of the highest quality, and made with respect for the environment. The factory has no need for a smokestack because the production uses renewable energy to create 100% recyclable products.

The quality of the RCR product begins in the design phase, where all possible measures are studied to make each of their products very resistant, while the natural transparency and brilliance of their patented Luxion®
material completes the work. During the
production process, 3 quality controls take place which allow them to be considered among the companies with the best quality standards. After passing the electronic controls, the last check before packaging the product is always carried out by one of our trained glass experts.
