25 Pumps, Valves & Liquid Handling

Electronic Micropipettes from Socorex

The Acura® electro is making electronic pipetting more versatile, simpler and safer than ever. The range includes seven micro models (0.1 to 1000 µL), three macropipettes (0.1 to 10 mL) and eight multichannel instruments (0.1 to 350 µL).

Intuitive control software avoids any complicated programming steps. One single key provides for quick access to Forward - Reverse - Stepper - Dilute - Tactile and Mixing working modes. Simplify gel loading operations, sequential distribution and perform titrations with the micropipette using the Tactile mode.

Working ergonomics and hand comfort lead to outstanding pipetting results. Display information is reversible for right or left side reading. Efficient tip ejection obtained with a patented height adjustable mechanism. NiMH battery pack is exchangeable and / or charged right- away. Charge level is clearly visible on instrument display. Automatic stand-by when pipette remains unused.

Each of the 27 volumetric modules (lower pipette assemblies) is interchangeable on one control unit (upper pipette body). Instrument calibration is easily performed right from the keyboard.

Each Acura®electro conforms to CE safety guidelines, to EN ISO 8655 and other international standard requirements. Two-year warranty. Check the related tutorial for further details and view the product presentation.

57998pr@reply-direct.com Bottle-top Dispensers Ensure

Safe Chemical Handling The Calibrex™ bottle-top dispensers from Socorex are robust precision instruments intended for a safe and reproducible liquid distribution. Directly screwed on the reagent bottle, they limit possible eye or skin contact, or vapours inhalation. The line covers 7 volume ranges: 0.1-1 / 0.25-2.5 / 0.5-5 / 1-10 / 2.5-25 / 5-50 / 10-100 mL. Select the most appropriate model, according to the type of liquid distributed:

Calibrex™ organo 525 includes a ground glass or ceramic plunger, both well suited for organic solvents and non-crystallising solutions.

Calibrex™ solutae 530 has a PFA coated glass or ceramic plunger for trouble free distribution of salt solutions, weak and strong acids and bases.

To easily check chemical compatibility of Calibrex™ dispensers, a QR code printed on each instrument body gives instant access to the resistance chart. Valves, plunger, barrel, and delivery jet are removable in seconds for cleaning or replacement. If required for instance in microbiology or cell culture laboratories, Calibrex™ dispensers are fully autoclavable at 121°C.

The optional flow control stopcock increases Calibrex™ dispenser safety by recycling reagent directly into the bottle while priming. Other accessories extend working possibilities, such as a 60 cm flexible extension tubing. It allows easy distribution in tube rows. This is very convenient when preparing dilution series.

A dispenser screwed on a small bottle may lack stability. The use of a holder increases stability and eliminates risk of instrument tipping. When different bottles sizes are used with the same dispenser, the telescopic feed tubing is recommended to instantly fit to any bottle size.

60813pr@reply-direct.com Manual Micropipettes Provide Premium Working Comfort

Ergonomics is a key word when performing long pipetting series and routine tests. From instrument position in the hand to smoothest activation, every single detail of the Acura® manual pipette line from Socorex contributes to superior working comfort and reduction of hand fatigue.

The optimal shape of finger rest maintains the instrument in position while pipetting. Volume setting button allows rapid adjustment, even when wearing gloves. Located on the front instrument side, the display window is always clearly visible during pipetting.

Soft springs and tightness ring with PTFE sleeve reduce frictions and make plunger activation smoother than ever. A large surface ejector button provides for low-pressure activation. In addition to ease of tip ejection, the Justip™ shaft height adjustment system allows a wide selection of tips to tightly fit the nozzle. This proved to be essential where laboratories have limited options to select their own pipette tips (i.e. central purchase).

The Acura® manual pipettes are available as micro-, macro- and multichannel models. Each instrument bears its own serial number and passes strict performance control attested by an individual QC certificate. Combined with Qualitix® pipette tips, the line provides for performance results. Three-year warranty.
