31 Pumps, Valves & Liquid Handling New Video Demonstrates Pipetting Effi ciency
Integra Biosciences has put together a series of ‘How to’ videos, demonstrating how the company’s lightweight VIAFLO electronic pipette and VOYAGER adjustable tip spacing pipette can make your daily pipetting tasks easier and faster, and help you to ensure your lab is following good pipetting practices. The significance of user experience on pipetting precision is often overlooked, and can have a serious impact on the reproducibility and validity of results. The negative effects of many hours of repetitive pipetting on both the researcher and the results should also not be underestimated. That’s why so many researchers have now switched to these electronic micropipettes to improve their busy workflows.
Watch the tutorials to discover how the intelligent features offered by the company’s VIAFLO and VOYAGER electronic pipettes enable precise pipetting and reduce the risk of repetitive strain injuries or errors, as well as increasing throughput. Learn how productive you can be, by viewing these quick overviews of the most important pipetting programs, including repeat dispensing, mixing, reverse pipetting, and custom protocol development.

Liquid Nitrogen Auto-fi ll Pump for Effi cient Cooling and Filling of Low Pressure Temperature Controlled Applications
Norhof manufactures LN2 auto-fill systems. When LN2 is required, a small overpressure (100 mBar) is generated by a small heater element in the LN2 inside the Dewar. Liquid flows smoothly out of the system similar to water from a tap, without spilling, noise and vibrations, ensuring efficient and safe filling and level control in your LN2 cooling application.
Norhof’s flagship system is the #900 series, which is fully programmable with several control options, based on one or two sensors in level or temperature.
Applications for the Norhof #900 series LN2 auto-fill include: automatic LN2 filling system for FTIR; automatic filling system for DSC; automatic LN2 filling system for TMA; LN2 Cold Trap filling; LN2 heat exchangers PID temperature control; Computer Controlled Freezing; Gas Chromatography;
Temperature stages in microscopes. More information online:
