Gas analysis service support deals signed with two major industrial manufacturers in China


Servomex has supported analyser projects for two Chinese industrial giants with service contracts to ensure reliable long-term operation. The deals were struck with Sanmenxia Aoke Chemical Industry Co., Ltd, based in Sanmenxia City, and ABB Engineering Shanghai.


Sanmenxia Aoke Chemical is a major chemical manufacturer which produces intermediates for applications including plastics, rubber, medicines and pesticides. It uses Servomex’s Servotough SpectraXact 2500 photometric gas analysers for process control and analysis.


An industrial manufacturer and research and development center, ABB Engineering Shanghai uses Servomex’s SERVOPRO 4900 Multigas analyzers for continuous emissions monitoring of multiple fl ue gas components.


Both fi rms were impressed by the competitive terms of the service plans, and signed up during the analyser sales process. The one-year contracts each cover preventative maintenance for the Servomex systems, with two standard maintenance visits and one breakdown service visit.


The maintenance scope for each analyser includes status inspection, performance verifi cation, diagnostic data checks and recording, calibration and precision check, and a pre-treatment system check. Operators also receive fi eld analyser training, a calibration certifi cate, and priority in fi eld service scheduling.


Additionally, remote technical support is provided, with a senior engineer providing telephone support within 12 hours or email support within eight hours. Further customer benefi ts include free workshop training for two people, and a 10% discount on any spare parts required.
