50 Water/Wastewater 50 Years of Innovation in Water and Process Industries

WES Dosing Products (UK) offer 9 models of A3 & A4 Series Blue White peristaltic pumps to cover a flow range from 0.003-600 lph at pressures to 8.6 bar using no maintenance variable speed brushless DC motors. With a wide voltage input 96-264V, 1ph, 50/60hz, these pumps have a 2500:1 turndown and rated to IP66 for washdown.

From an operators perspective these pumps have a simple user friendly digital touch pad with an easy to use menu driven software and a VGA graphic multi colour backlit LCD which displays lph, motor speed, input signal values, service and alarm status.

From a control perspective these pumps can be run in 4-20mA, Pulse, Manual, Batch or automated ppm dosing and all have a remote start/stop function.

Feedbacks are multiple (4-20mA, one 6 amp relay and 3 contact closures) and can be assigned to monitor up to 17 different pump functions including Tube Failure Detection (TFD), Flow Verification Sensor (FVS), remote/local control setting, motor on, fault, current operating mode and others.

In addition, all pumps incorporate the Blue White patented Tube Failure Detection (TFD) system as standard, a safety sensor which protects operators and aides in tube replacement (patent pending) and a feature used to extend tube life (patent pending).

Peristaltic pumps do not have valves that can clog, are self priming and do not gas lock or lose prime, which makes them ideal for chemical dosing applications in potable water treatment, ie/ chlorination, dosing of ferric sulphate, coagulant or polymer in wastewater treatment, inks within the print industry and a wide range of other chemicals within other industries.

Fully supported by a 2 year warranty, the A4, A3 and soon to be released A2 range of Blue White peristaltic pumps are available from Weschem Ltd.

The PF-12 is an easy to operate compact photometer from Machery Nagel (Germany) with clear and convenient user guidance. The instrument impresses with modern design and precise analytics. The PF-12 can be used for both the determination of VISOCOLOR® ECO and NANOCOLOR® tube tests.

The modern, backlit display shows all relevant information. The display lighting can be set to multiple different intensity levels, thus permitting an optimal adjustment to outside light conditions. Due to the intuitive menu navigation, operating the PF-12 is fast and easy. As soon as a test number is selected, the wavelength is adjusted automatically. The PF-12 features a USB 2.0 port which enables updates with new tests via PC/Internet in no time.

Additionally, the USB port is designed to serve as the photometer’s flexible power supply. The PF-12 can be operated directly via PC. Moreover, power can be supplied from a normal outlet or a car’s 12 V outlet with the respective adaptors. Also the PF-12 can run on batteries and rechargeable batteries.

The PF-12 already includes over 100 preprogrammed test methods for extensive water analysis. Additionally, 10 user defined methods can be programmed individually. Results are always saved in accordance to GLP and can be uploaded easily and conveniently to a PC with the NANOCOLOR® data export software. Once saved to a PC, the results can be evaluated with standard software. In addition, the PF-12 features a wide variety of supplemental photometric basic functions.
