Air Monitoring 45 Pressure transmitters for hydrogen applications off er both longevity and exceptional accuracy
With their long service life and high level of accuracy, the pressure transmitters in KELLER’s 23SY-H2 series and their intrinsically safe ATEX counterparts in the 23SY-Ei-H2 range provide a reliable solution for all hydrogen applications.
The 23SY-H2 series is distinguished by its low embrittlement rate, which is due to the high nickel content of the stainless steel used to manufacture the transmitters. What’s more, the gold-plated diaphragm ensures that hydrogen diffusion is reduced to a minimum. The pressure transmitters are compensated over the entire temperature range and offer exceptional long-term stability.
KELLER series 23SY-H2 and 23SY-Ei-H2 pressure transmitters are used in a wide range of fi elds, including hydrogen generation and production, transportation, the monitoring of hydrogen refuelling stations and in the containment and storage of hydrogen.
The KELLER 23SY-H2 series offers different accuracy classes to suit the fi eld of application. The 23SY-H2 series has a fully welded design to prevent hydrogen leakages and metallically sealed process connections. KELLER has designed these sensors for excellent long-term stability and longevity and ensured that no elastomers come into contact with the measuring medium.

A bespoke and cost- eff ective industrial air
monitoring solution Chromatotec provides a
turnkey solution for industrial air monitoring using their world- renowned range of industrial analysers and generators in an air-conditioned or heated shelter.
This compact measuring cabinet is
manufactured for use in the harshest of
indoor and outdoor environments, and therefore perfectly suited for installation on industrial sites or potentially explosive locations.
This level of integration ensures that the system is well controlled and regulated in terms of operational temperature and protected from adverse and extreme weather conditions. This helps extend the life of the systems while reducing maintenance costs. Temperature and humidity inside the shelter are monitored with trends evaluated on the analyser’s internal computer.
This mobile analysis solution includes the continuous monitoring of VOCs (alkanes C2 to C25, PAH, siloxanes, etc.), amino compounds, ketones, aldehydes, sulphur compounds (H2
S,
mercaptans, sulphides, etc.) and other compounds such as ammonia, chlorine, CH4
, CO2 and N2 O, at
concentration levels ranging from ppt to ppm. The solution features integrated alarms to warn of high pollution levels detected in the ambient air during ground operations or the characterisation of gas plumes.
The integrated analytical confi guration is modular, fl exible, and autonomous thanks to the use of 19’’ racks that are interchangeable to suit the individual operator’s needs and applications, as well as the use of generators, calibration and specifi c sampling modules.

Reliable, precise and cost- eff ective industrial emission monitoring system undergoes upgrade
The MRU GmbH is a family-owned company based in Germany, specializing in the production of high-quality and durable portable and stationary industrial emissions monitoring systems. MRU has technologically revamped its long-standing SWG 300 IND (indoor) gas analysis system. We can now offer our customers an advanced multi- component gas analysis system for indoor applications. Using NDIR modules, the SWG 300 IND ensures continuous, precise, and selective measurement in the ppm range, even under the most challenging industrial conditions. Upon request, the system is available as SWG 300 OTD (outdoor) for outdoor use or as SWG 300 EX for hazardous areas (ATEX Zone 2 compliant).
The SWG 300 IND operates with optimized and precise NDIR technology, providing multiple options for infrared measurement modules, including 6-gas or 8-gas confi gurations. When using the 8-gas infrared module (NDIR), it can measure CO, CO2, NO, NO2, N2O, SO2, CH4, and HC. The O2 measurement can be performed using either an electrochemical or paramagnetic sensor. The emission monitoring system features a multi-stage Peltier gas cooler with two automatic condensate pumps for cold/ dry gas extraction, as well as automatic zero-point and calibration functions. Extended fi lter lifetimes result from the low sample fl ow volume of only 1 l/min.
The SWG 300 IND offers accurate, direct, and continuous measurements, even under variable pressure and temperature conditions. It features a 3.5-inch TFT color display, a keypad, and a standard RS485 interface (Modbus RTU). MRU provides a variety of probes tailored to the specifi c requirements of gas analysis, including options for low-dust and high-dust environments, as well as compact probes with heated gas sampling lines. The system supports heated gas sampling lines up to 70 meters for up to two measurement points.
The SWG 300 IND is designed for easy access to facilitate maintenance and operation. It includes a gas conditioning system with a heated acid separator, 8 analog and RS485 Modbus outputs, PC data and visualization software, as well as internal fl ow monitoring and alarms.
These versatile and reliable MRU measuring devices play a crucial role in emissions monitoring and reduction, enabling companies that use them to demonstrate a strong commitment to reducing air pollution. The SWG 300 series offers the ideal combination of cost-effectiveness, reliability, and precision, making it suitable for a variety of applications such as aluminum processing, breweries, biogas and biomass boilers, blast furnaces, cement industry, diesel generators, continuous emissions monitoring, CH4, CO, and CO2 measurements, gas turbines, compressors, iron foundries, steel industry, kilns, landfi ll gas analysis, power plants, refi neries, and petrochemicals.
