YZ Systems manufacture Aircom; an advanced, intrinsically safe telemetry device which allows sensors to be made wireless. Aircom can take a variety of I/O including 4-20mA, HART, PT100, RTD, NAMUR, Digital Pulse and many more. It is currently deployed on water networks for EDM and level monitoring applications. Aircom is capable of working underground and can communicate through manholes, in dense urban environments, at ranges of over 1 mile. In more open terrain it has achieved 10+ miles. YZ Systems use LoRaWAN which is a license free communications protocol, as well as a confi gurable app to allow easy setup and deployment.
