High Temperature Furnaces


High temperature furnaces are designed in most advanced technology for universal heat treatment applications under air, protective gas atmospheres and vacuum with high temperature accuracy.


Heaters are adapted for working temperatures and atmospheres: Kanthal-Super, molybdenum, tungsten, or graphite. Insulation is of high quality ceramic fibre, graphite felt, or porous alumina oxide brickwork. High energy saving and fast heating cycles are possible. Fast cooling and low outside wall temperatures are maintained by double chamber design.


The modular design of this furnace type and the wide range of available options enable tailor-made solutions for all applications. All HT furnaces can be made as special version with graphite insulation and graphite heaters for temperatures up to 2300°C in oxygen free atmospheres or vacuum. Coldwall design: with molydenum or tungsten heaters for vacuum up to 10-5


mbar.


All HT furnaces can be equipped with the following options: Gas-/vacuumtight furnace chamber, gas feeding-, burning-off devices and safety package for hydrogen operation. Standard vacuum version with rotary vane pump for max. 10-1

Induction heating


High frequency generators up to 100 kW, 100 kHz - 27,12 MHz. Medium frequency inverter up to 1000 kW, 1 - 100 kHz.


Resistance heated vertical tube furnace for growth of 4” GaAs single crystals. 8 individual heating zones, Tmax = 1500°C, TÜV certified water-cooled pressure vessel (Maximum pressure 10 bar, Argon). Fully automated process control and monitoring by PLC, touch-screen user interface.

Cold Wall Tiltable Crucible Furnace


Tube furnaces closed and split type, 1- and 3- zone. Rotary tube furnaces


for universal applications. Option protective gas / vacuum. Up to 2100 °C.


Sample preparation for spectroscopy by induction remelting of metals and fusion of oxidic samples. XRF/RFA , Emission, ICP, AAS, X-Emission.


Resistance heated cold wall tiltable crucible furnace for melting of glass samples in Pt-crucibles, e. g. for the glass industry, laboratory, R&D. 3 heating zones, Tmax = 1300°C. Useful diameter 135 mm, useful height 220 mm.


Maximum heating power: 4 kW. Tiltable drive speed controlled by frequency inverter.
