Collaboration to Provide Integration Between Microplate Reader Range and Data Analysis Platform Announced , a data analysis and management platform for in-vitro screening technologies. “By
BMG Labtech collaborates with Genedata to provide a functionally rich integration between BMG Labtch’s entire product range of dedicated and multi-mode microplate readers and Genedata Screener®
focussing on the needs of the scientifi c community, we constantly strive to enhance the usability of our products and to optimise workfl ows beyond our microplate readers through collaborations with other companies. The Genedata Ready-to-Run integration enables customers to easily import the high-quality results of our readers into a platform that takes data analysis and management in screening facilities to a new level,” said Thomas Räbiger, CEO at BMG Labtech.
BMG Labtech’s multi-mode microplate readers PHERAstar® FSX, CLARIOstar® and Omega Series as well as the dedicated SPECTROstar® Nano
are part of the Genedata Ready-to-Run program. The readers offer solutions for any screening assay and are used by leading pharmaceutical companies and academic research institutions all over the world. The microplate readers have earned the reputation of highest sensitivity, speed and precision for life science applications and high-throughput screening purposes.
“A perfectly engineered instrument is only one part of the solution. It needs to be effectively integrated in modern screening laboratories to visualise, analyse and manage data in the same workfl ow,” explained Andrea Krumm, Application Scientist at BMG Labtech. The company’s microplate readers come with a powerful software package including control software and the MARS data analysis software, which effectively
run the microplate reader and extensively analyse data. “The Genedata Screener® Ready-to-Run program enhances our capabilities as it provides out-of-the-box integrations for complex screening technologies making it the perfect addition to all of our readers, but especially the PHERAstar® data from any screening instrument, Genedata Screener® with Genedata Screener®

Direct Mark Technology Provides Greater Flexibility for Labs Worldwide
Computype announces advances in barcode marking technologies that offer greater image reliability for a wider range of containers to global healthcare customers. Having long been a provider of pre-labelled and pre-barcoded labware as part of its READY Labware Services offering, Computype understands that labware identifi cation needs often go beyond what a pressure sensitive label can accommodate.
The traditional pressure sensitive label is tried and true, can withstand extreme temperatures, even those as harsh as -196°C, but ultimately isn’t a permanent identifi cation solution. Ceramic labels are fi red onto glass labware, ultimately becoming part of the container itself and provide the ultimate in long-term storage, but cannot accommodate customers who utilise plastic containers. Direct mark offers the economic benefi ts of a pressure sensitive label and the permanent identifi cation features of ceramic labelling regardless if the labware is plastic or glass, ultimately providing global healthcare customers additional options for container identifi cation.
Computype has long been perfecting direct mark technology with the strategic goal of offering customers a permanent identifi cation option for both plastic and glass labware at a moderate price point. “Our READY Labware Services Program offers customers the ultimate in convenience as labware can be procured, marked, tared, and custom-packed all before arriving at the customer location,” said Jeff Denton, Global Product Manager of Computype’s READY Labware Service Program. “The addition of direct mark technology rounds out our product portfolio and allows us to provide customers with the best container identifi cation based on application.”
Globally rebranded in 2016, Computype’s READY Labware Service Program is a tailored service offering suited to customer process and application needs. The program ultimately removes barcoding, labelling, and associated tasks like labware procurement, container tare weighing, and even kitting/packing from customer sites. “The ability to outsource activities related to container identifi cation is appealing to many of our global pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers because they realise in that allowing us to be their ‘barcode marking experts’ they ultimately save on costs, time, and administrative work” said Denton. “Our ability to provide direct mark as an identifi cation technology option in addition to these services means that our customers, and our customers’ customers can focus even more of their time on research and strategic business goals.”

The Working in Partnership Programme
Centurion Scientifi c Ltd are pleased to announce the roll out of its working in partnership programme which worldwide release began in August 2016.
Centurion’s new programme means Centurion will be working and looking globally for the best distributors in all industries.
Centurion have the largest portfolio of centrifuges including the analytical range, research, hospital, PRP, xtract (for chefs), road testing, education range, ASTM oil testing and our Veterinary range.
Centurion are already working alongside in partnership with some truly exceptional distributors but are looking to fi ll exclusivity in some areas.
The working in partnership programme ensures our partners receive the best discounts on Centurion products but also get full support and assistance. Upon entering the partnership programme Centurion are supplying their partners with all the demonstration centrifuges required along with marketing and promotional material.
Service training will be given to all partners engineers who also have full access 24/7 to online assistance and personal assistance during UK working hours.
Centurion centrifuges are made in the UK and offer a 3 year warranty - if you are interested in Centurions working in partnership programme please contact info@centurionscientifi
