Computype announces advances in barcode marking technologies that offer greater image reliability for a wider range of containers to global healthcare customers. Having long been a provider of pre-labelled and pre-barcoded labware as part of its READY Labware Services offering, Computype understands that labware identifi cation needs often go beyond what a pressure sensitive label can accommodate.
The traditional pressure sensitive label is tried and true, can withstand extreme temperatures, even those as harsh as -196°C, but ultimately isn’t a permanent identifi cation solution. Ceramic labels are fi red onto glass labware, ultimately becoming part of the container itself and provide the ultimate in long-term storage, but cannot accommodate customers who utilise plastic containers.
