Bibby Scientific Takes Over Distribution of Argos Technologies


Bibby Scientifi c Ltd announced that as from December 2016 it has taken over the distribution of Argos Technologies products, outside of the USA and Asia Pacifi c. As Bibby Scientifi c and Argos Technologies are now both part of the Cole-Parmer group, this gives the company an opportunity to streamline customer experience in the EMEA market. The distribution of the Argos Technologies products through Bibby Scientifi c’s European hub means that customers will have a single source for life science equipment and consumables.


The wide range of Argos Technology products soon to be available through Bibby Scientifi c will include molecular and cell biology- related research products, as well as storage and cryo-storage equipment. By expanding its current range of mixing, heating, weighing, PCR and analytical products with these new offerings, Bibby Scientifi c will become the go-to source for a comprehensive range of laboratory equipment and consumables. These products


will be readily held in stock to ensure quick delivery times and affordable prices for Bibby Scientifi c’s customers, in European, Middle Eastern and African markets.

Technology Ltd, headquartered in the National Technology Park Limerick, Ireland, on 1st November. The company will continue to be managed as a wholly owned subsidiary of Eppendorf AG by its current Managing Director, Brian Kelly. The acquisition of Calibration Technology Ltd will enable Eppendorf to expand its service presence into Ireland. “We have had a very good partnership with Calibration Technology for many years now, and are pleased that this acquisition will allow us to extend our service offering, especially for customers in regulated areas,” commented Thomas Bachmann, President & Chief Executive Offi cer of Eppendorf AG.
