Au-Flat
Holey Gold Film Grids for High Resolution Imaging
Au-Flat™ upgrades patented C-Flat technology with a 45nm Holey Gold Alloy Film on a 3mm gold mesh grid.
Better Datasets
Au-Flat improves image quality by greatly reducing particle motion.
Durable Au-Flat’s film is significantly stronger than other films and is more capable of surviving cryo workflows including tweezer handling, glow discharge, blotting, plunge freezing, and autogrid loading.
Biocompatible Au-Flat features a holey Au/Pd film on a gold mesh grid, so it’s chemically inert and biologically compatible.
Prevents Mistakes Au-Flat’s gold alloy film is lighter in color than the grid itself. This makes it obvious which side is the foil, preventing sample prep and loading mistakes.
