60

weekly emails to tens of thousands of colleagues across the globe. Top news and articles are subsequently included in our printed magazines, like the one you’re reading now. If you have something interesting to share with our readers, get in touch with our editorial team at Editor@ckhglobal. org to tell them your ideas. Writing an article for us does more than share information with your peers – it raises the profile of you and your company, and lets the world know about your in-depth knowledge and expertise. We don’t charge publication fees, but any articles published in the

magazine must comply with our guidelines. Most importantly, your article must be of genuine interest to our readers, which means it needs to have a focus on science and technology, or professional business matters in the industry. Articles with an overly promotional tone will not be accepted.

Steps to success…

If you are interested in sending us an article, first email Editor@ ckhglobal.org with a very short summary – just a few sentences is enough – to explain the premise of your offering. If the editorial team thinks that it is suitable for the magazine, they will send you our guidelines and invite you to submit a full article. Your article will need to be between 800 and 1500 words in length, depending on the topic (you will need to check the guidelines sent to you for your word limit). Following submission, your article will be reviewed within 2 weeks. If your article is accepted, we reserve the right to edit it (e.g. to reduce the length if it is too long, or to change the tone if it is too promotional). If your article is edited, you will be given the opportunity to review the edited version before it is published. Our reviewers might also have questions for you, in which case you will need to answer them before the article is finalized.

Submission deadlines must be adhered to. As we partner with so many

different international events, our publication calendar is largely driven by the dates of those events – our magazines need to be printed in time to reach them. Extensions might sometimes permitted, but if you are unable to meet a deadline your space in the magazine might need to be given to a contributor-in-waiting, and your own article might need to wait for space in the next appropriate issue. Please keep an open dialogue with our editorial team if you expect any delays, so we can accommodate your situation as much as we can.
