TelcoSwitch, the unified com- munications and collaboration specialist has appointed industry veteran Eddie Buxton as Chair- man of its Board. Eddie joins TelcoSwitch following more than a decade as CEO at Maintel, the AIM-listed cloud and managed services company for both pub- lic and private organisations. During his time at Maintel, he was responsible for a period of dramatic change, developing and implementing strategic plans to advance revenue, profitability and growth. Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS) today announced a newly elected 2020-2021 board of directors that will lead the organization’s effort to- ward a standards-based IP infrastruc- ture for professional media. AIMS Chairman of the Board Michael Cronk (Grass Valley), Vice Chair Steve Reyn- olds (Imagine Communications), and Chief Financial Officer Andreas Hilm- er (Lawo) were re-elected to their posi- tions and are joined by newly elected board members Terry Holton (Yamaha) and Andrew Starks (Macnica). “With the pace of IP adoption and in- novation accelerating, our work to ed- ucate the broadcast and Pro AV mar- kets is as — or more — important than ever,” said Cronk.” “Terry and Andrew both have contributed enormously to the success of AIMS in promoting a common set of standards for IP media transport across the media and en- tertainment industry.
