VIRTUAL TECHNICAL CONFERENCE & 3D EXPO

• Lead Retention Data: The

platform only tracked “significant events”, which were defined by the designer as the content viewed by a delegate on their first visit to a booth; follow up visits were omitted. • Schedule: The general consensus

is that the Expo should be limited to two days with limited hours to promote denser booth traffic.

Going Forward Clearly, there was a lot to learn from this event, and what we did learn will be applied when evaluating a contingency plan for the 15th World Conference on Investment Casting & Equipment Expo, should global conditions dictate a virtual course of action. We are currently using this criteria

as we look at platforms to support next year’s Business & Leadership Development Conference as well as the World Conference on Investment Casting as hybrid events, and if necessary, as a virtual ones.

Acknowledgements I would like to thank the entire ICI team, the Board of Directors and the Technical, Program and Marketing Committees for their support before, during and after this year’s event. As in events of this nature, there is a lot of work that goes

on behind the scenes, and I am in the unique position to see all of it. Clearly, we are lucky to have such dedicated individuals working diligently to advance our industry.

I would also like to thank our

exhibitors, our sponsors and all event attendees. Your participation supports industry advancement and the ICI. Thank you for being part of this year’s event, and I look forward to seeing you at next year’s events, hopefully in person.
