Born in Eustis, she moved to Citrus County 54 years ago. She served as chairman of the town of Hernando Heritage Council and devoted countless hours to the restoration of the historic Hernando Elementary School. Born in St. Petersburg, he moved to Citrus County in 1973 from there. He worked for the Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary for 27 years and later was a CSX Railroad Engineer.
