Citrus County Fair News
We have been adjusting to this new world since our Fair
was cancelled in March just like so many others in our in- dustry. On the positive side we have almost completed the pro-
jects from our FDAC’s Agriculture Education & Promotion Facility grant. We have a new sound system on the grounds and in our auditorium, much improved. The pav- ing of the inside of our grounds and parking lot is complete. The buildings have been painted inside and out. They look clean and fresh. We have just put out the invitation to bid for the air conditioning project & hope to finish soon. We still have a few rentals going forward, but we have
lost some too. We are moving forward with the planning of the 2021 Cit-
rus County Fair, March 22nd - 28th. Livestock entries have started and we have 61 steers, and 64 swine to date. Come join the Fun! Stay safe, look forward to seeing everyone!! Hal Porter, Manager
