Satellite Clubs


The last couple of months have been incredibly tough for many people, clubs and businesses. We wanted to take the opportunity to share some positive news and give our thanks.


Our amazing new and existing Satellite Club deliverers have helped grow and strengthen our local network of clubs over the past year. This currently includes 146 Satellite Clubs, 30 of which are brand new.


There has also been fantastic innovation and ingenuity shown over the last few weeks by sports clubs and activity deliverers.


Sport England have acted fast to ensure us that we can look to plan and get ready for new Satellite Clubs to commence delivery when deemed safe to do so by the government.


We have also been given some flexibility to help sustain and protect our existing Satellite Club network and to also engage with new partners looking to diversify their offer and get involved in the programme.


Therefore anyone looking to set up new sessions for young people now or anytime before

SAFEGUARDING & PROTECTING CHILDREN ONLINE CLASSROOM


We are supporting local coaches and volunteers by running our UK Coaching accredited Safeguarding & Protecting Children workshops online via an interactive online classroom


OUR NEXT COURSES ARE: 12 May 2020 8 June 2020


The workshops run from 6.30pm and cost £30 per person

This workshop involves a small amount of reading and writing and involves minimal physical activity


You will be required to register with the accrediting body UK Coaching in order to receive your certificate They will ask for your name, email address and date of birth. They will not share your information and you will have the option to opt in or out of marketing.
