Thinking of things to do when lockdown is over?
Why not sign up to gain some experience volunteering at our School Games!
At WASP we are looking for individuals over the age of 16 to assist us in delivering our 2020- 2021 School Games Events from September this year.
As well as gaining skills, confidence, and meeting new people, you’ll also gain the chance to access FREE qualifications in safeguarding, first aid or coaching!
Our biggest event is at Marlborough College in July, featuring a music and dance filled opening ceremony with speech from a Sporting Champion, a range of different competitive sports, and an exciting athletes village filled with mini challenges and activities.

Volunteers are a crucial part of the event and we need YOU to be there to help us out!
Katie, who volunteered through the DfE scheme this year said: ‘’Being involved in then DfE Leadership Volunteering scheme has been an amazing experience. It has helped me to face many of my fears, as well as help make a difference to young people’s lives. I now feel more confident when communicating with new people of all ages and am not afraid to put ideas forward in groups of people I don’t know!’’
It’s not too early to sign up for next year, and we would to hear from you now so we can get to know you and provide the best volunteer experience.
