‘Virtual' Wiltshire School Games Get active Get involved


There will be age categories including an opportunity for teachers and parents to take part.


As well as individual winners there will be a winning primary and secondary school for each challenge based on the average points/time accumulated across all your participants. There will also be a Spirit of the Games Award


for the most creative way of completing the challenge, for example if the usual equipment is not available.


THE WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AND CELEBRATED ON JULY 8TH.


More information on how to access the challenges and submit the entries will be sent out before half term.


WILTSHIRE SCHOOL GAMES STARTS MONDAY 27TH APRIL 2020.


We are working with the School Games Organisers (SGOs) across Wiltshire to bring together a fantastic resource base of fun physical activities to keep your children and young people moving and smiling!


Each week, we will launch a calendar of 5 different activities to try out.

It is with great disappointment that, due the current situation regarding Covid19 and the uncertainty of when schools will re-open, the decision has been made to cancel the 2020 Summer School Games due to take place on July 8th at Marlborough College.


With everyone staying at home, physical activity is now more important than ever – not just for maintaining physical fitness, but also mental wellbeing. So I am pleased to introduce the inaugural ‘Virtual’ Wiltshire School Games.


Each Monday morning from June 1 - June 29, 2 sporting challenges will be released on our website and through our social media channels. Throughout the week your students can practice, train and improve, before submitting a film of them completing each challenge to alma@wiltssport.org by Friday 3pm of that week.


Ra Cat will be demonstrating some of the activities and the videos will go online!
