MARINA VISIT 25

New berths installed by Marinetek of Finland.

Port Louis Marina is located in the beautiful lagoon by Saint George’s, the historic capital of Grenada.

in catamarans, a number of triple berths were included in the design to cater for the increasing need for wider moorings. Charlotte Fairhead, Marina Manager at Port Louis Marina, commented: “We have seen an increase of demand for seasonal and visiting yachts to Port Louis Marina and the expansion of the new berthing is to better facilitate charter yachts visiting the island of Grenada, and further support sailing events and regattas with more

berthing solutions”. Patricia Maher, CEO of the

Grenada Tourism Authority, agreed: “Grenada’s unspoiled sailing grounds and safe surroundings have made the destination a hub for yacht stop-offs and extended cruises”.

International events The additional berths will help support the space required for many international events hosted at the marina, including the RORC Transatlantic Race, World Arc and

Quantum pedestal supplied by Rolec Services.

Oyster World Rally, as well as more regional boat and charter shows. With a full list of facilities

and technical service support, international connections plus the added benefits of the Camper & Nicholsons Standard, the marina is a

haven for superyachts and other craft throughout the year. Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina reservations@ cnportlouismarina.com www.cnmarinas.com
