Jillian Thomas joins podcast
Jillian Thomas, Founder of Future Life Wealth Management, was recently invited onto an episode of the Leaders Council podcast, featuring Lord Blunkett. Host Matthew O'Neill asked both guests a series of questions about leadership and the role it has played in their careers. Matthew said: “Hosting a
show like this, where you speak to genuine leaders who have been there and done it, either on a national stage or within a crucial industry sector, is an absolute honour.” Lord Blunkett, Chairman of
The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, said: ‘The most informative element of each episode is Matthew sitting with someone who really gets their industry and knows how to make an organisation tick. Someone who’s there day in day out, working hard and inspiring others. That’s what leadership is all about.’

Leasing options now available for gas refuelling infrastructure
Buses play a critical role in delivering sustainable transport in our towns and cities and provide rural connectivity to a broad cross section of the UK population. However, existing diesel buses and heavy- duty vehicles are a source of air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. Improving local air quality is now fixed on
Government’s environmental agenda with the Bill to support net zero by 2050 currently going through Parliament. A number of local and regional authorities have
already introduced policies to help encourage the adoption of clean vehicles. Nottingham City Transport, the UK’s Bus Operator of the Year 2020, is now proudly running a fleet of 120 biogas double decks throughout the city, helping the local authority to deliver on its clean air strategy. In terms of infrastructure, Roadgas has successfully
expanded NCT’s station to support the expanded fleet of 120 vehicles with the addition of two new compressors and an additional three dispensers to maximise fill times for the operator.
David Rix, Managing Director of Roadgas, said: “The
capital investment required to support the introduction of biogas into a fleet of any size is significant and that is why we have developed a range of financial options to help transport fleet directors and managers transition to the use of gas as an alternative fuel.” Roadgas offers options to either lease or buy capital equipment which allows small to large operators work out the best solution for their business going forward.
