CSSC nominated for CSSC award

The East Midlands Region of CSSC has been named a finalist for a UK OSPA Award in the category of Outstanding Security Partnership for 2020. CSSC is a system for sharing

security information, enabling businesses to make informed decisions, create awareness and improve contingency planning. It works in conjunction with all five police forces across the East Midlands. The region is only two years

old and already has achieved a membership of just under 300 principal organisations, with a potential reach of a quarter of a million people. The East Midlands Region

has now been listed as a finalist in the category, with the winner of this prestigious award set to be announced at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. The UK OSPAs serve to

acknowledge the creditable and infinite contributions that companies, initiatives, teams and individuals make to the security industry and wider community.

e-bate Limited launches in the East Midlands

Having built bespoke rebate solutions for seven years across multiple sectors, technologists and pricing specialists at award-winning Evolve-IT Consulting have recognised a gap in the market for an affordable solution that helped decision makers digitise their rebate process within weeks and regain control. The calculation engine IP was transferred to e-bate

Limited at the beginning of 2019 and a full end-to-end SaaS solution that offers a great user experience was created.

‘Leicestershire is a great hub to build a business in’

e-bate provides customers with maximum visibility,

complete predictability and total reliability of its rebate management process, including – but not limited to - fast implementation (weeks not years), easy-to-use interface, real time calculation engine, user maintenance and a fully auditable and compliant service. In 2019 e-bate received £950,000 funding from

Mercia Asset Management and private investors to continue product development and client acquisition, with e-bate looking to disrupt the rebate management software market. It has secured two new customers, one in pharmaceuticals and a buying group, with more in the

Leanne Bonner-Cooke

pipeline, and has opened a UK Head office in Rearsby, Leicestershire. e-bate has added two team members in 2020 - a

product manager, Charlotte Clifton, and an implementation engineer, Neil Barton; bringing the total number of FTEs to 12, with numbers set to expand further. Leanne Bonner-Cooke MBE, founder and Chief

Executive, said: “Leicestershire is a great hub to build a business in. It makes our client base across the UK accessible and brings employment to the area. We do struggle finding the right development resources as demand far outweighs supply and we have a lot of competition locally. “It highlights the skills shortage we have. For this

reason, we decided to established our development centre in Malaga, Spain. This also helps overcome any unknown uncertainty that Brexit may bring.”
