Aluminium pontoons and fingers
A
choice of pontoons and finger piers to suit different marina layouts is made of 6061 T6 marine grade
aluminum profiles by Potona Marine Co Ltd. These are assembled by the MIG welding process to create robust, stable structures that will not crack or warp like wood and have a long service life without the need for regular maintenance. They also resist fire, corrosion and damage caused by exposure to acidic and alkaline materials, insects and fungus.
Potona docks are supported by
rotationally-moulded polyethylene floats filled with 15kg/m3 polystyrene foam. They resist the effects of seawater, ultra-violet light, oil pollution and wave action, and also age well in a salt water environment. Various surface finishes can be supplied to meet customer requirements. Potona Marine Co Ltd
