INBUSINESS VIEWPOINT

It is with immense pride that I begin this Viewpoint with news of even more national recognition for Milton Keynes Chamber. Along with our sister Chamber in Northamptonshire, we were

recognised for the sixth year in a row at the latest national Chamber Business Awards. These awards, run by the British Chambers of Commerce, are

one of the UK’s most contested and prestigious business award programmes and I’m delighted to say we were National Runner- Up in the Excellence in Membership Services category. This is the sixth year running our Chamber has been a finalist

and in that time we have won five national awards, including Chamber of the Year, and have been named National Runner-Up three times. It is testament to the commitment of our staff, board, local

partners and our valued members that year after year our Chamber has received national accolades and I’d like to thank you all for making our Chamber network so well respected. We truly are stronger together and the partnerships we create and nurture are making our organisations more successful and our city an exciting place to do business. Speaking of partnerships, I’m delighted to say our new Chamber Business Partners initiative is going from strength to strength. This is an exclusive group the Chamber has launched to give businesses the chance to receive additional benefits on top of the standard benefits of Chamber membership. Partners receive access to exclusive business

events and can benefit from sponsorship, promotional and networking opportunities to further boost their standing in the business community as well as help to nurture their young business leaders. To find out more call us on 01908 547820.
