Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall has completed a $10 million renovation of its lobby and atrium areas.

Harrah’s Coastal Tower underwent a $56 million upgrade of its 507 rooms and suites with the first phase completed ear- lier in 2019. The new rooms offer fresh design elements and are "hard-wired for business-minded travelers," with high- speed Internet access, accessible charging stations and 55- inch LG LED televisions. Additional plans include a multimillion-dollar refresh and renaming of its Marina Tower.

These renovations are part of a continuing investment Caesars Entertainment has made in Atlantic City over the last several years, including the addition of its Waterfront Conference Center at Harrah’s Atlantic City, upgrades at The Pool After Dark nightclub, and the addition of Gordon Ramsay Steak.

Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa recently invested more than $14 million into enhancing its hotel experience with the addition of the Lobby Bar and adjacent VIP check-in, as well as a redesign of over 300 suites.

Atlantic City also has continued to grow its arts and culture scene, which includes numerous festivals and events during the year that take advantage of the beach and waterfront environment. Just a few of these include: Big Name Beach Concerts; Atlantic City Seafood Festival; Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival; and The Annual Atlantic City Airshow.

The $210 million Gateway project, which includes a new Stockton University island campus and a South Jersey Gas headquarters, is helping to transform the Chelsea section of Atlantic City. The project includes: a housing and student center on the boardwalk for university students; a parking garage topped by new offices for South Jersey Gas; along with an academic building.

Atlantic City’s world-famous boardwalk spans continuously over 7-miles. The new inlet section of the boardwalk has been completed, so bicyclists now can ride into Gardner’s Basin.

Viking Cooking School at Harrah’s Atlantic City provides a terrific experi- ence for groups and offers a variety of classes and menus from which to choose. Participants get to cook, connect and collaborate with one an- other - all while creating appetizing dishes. For those who love to cook, entertain, or just appreciate the pleasure of delicious cuisine, Viking Cook- ing School is the place to indulge one’s passions.

Escape AC at Tropicana is another outstanding team building opportunity. Find and unlock clues that challenge groups of 2 to 10 people in four dif- ferent themed game rooms. Each game room provides a thrilling, yet chal- lenging, experience that requires attention to detail, critical thinking, communication and teamwork in order to escape within the allotted time.

Topgolf Swing Suite at Ocean Casino Resort provides groups with an im- mersive social experience offering eleven private bays in which to play and enjoy fantastic food, beverage service, and ocean views.

MADE Chocolate - New Jersey’s only bean-to-bar chocolate shop - offers private chocolate making classes. In addition to great chocolate, guests can indulge in wine by the glass or bottle, local brews, or a dessert and cocktail menu: all of which incorporate MADE chocolate.

Little Water Distillery is Atlantic City’s first and only craft distillery to pro- duce whiskey, rum, vodka and gin. The distillery provides opportunities for events, offers group function space, tours and tastings, too.

At the Absecon Lighthouse, groups must work together to complete their journey to the top.

Alternatively, Meet AC can help planners to create unique themed scav- enger hunts throughout the city, as teams can utilize Jitneys to go from one location to another.
