German Second World War Kriegsmarine Binoculars. A nice set, optically clean, of the 7 x 50 binoculars, commonly associated with being used on submarines but were used in other areas of the Kriegsmarine. The main body has its original light green paint finish remaining with some chipping and the English name of ‘Malleson’ hand inscribed onto each lens cover. The rubberised protective material to both ends of the binoculars. The Bakelite lens cover is missing also the carrying strap. Both rubber covers to the viewing lenses are complete. Marked as normal underneath one of the body covers ‘7 x 50’ with issue number and coding ‘BLC’, good condition

Two belt buckles, large size 55mm x 55mm, with both keepers, slightly smaller example, excellent gilt, one keeper measuring 50mm x 50mm; two further Imperial German Great War Naval Belt Buckles, one large size 55mm x 55mm in heavy gilt brass with one keeper, with name of recipient scratched onto reverse, and a smaller full dress example, 40mm x 40mm; together with an Imperial German gunnery badge dated 1913 on its dark blue backing material, good condition (5)

A nice grouping of eight military passes, which include three German soldbuchs, one German soldbuch and its accompanying military pass to the same soldier, three military passes alone for individual German soldiers and one Austrian Great War military pass. All of these individual passes have been identified with detailed write-ups of their service during the Great War. Viewing is recommended. The vendor has placed the information gleaned from each pass within each passbook, good condition (lot)

German Great War Instruction and Information Handbooks. A nice collection of nine both hard and soft cover instruction manuals, some complete with colour plates of uniform detail of the Imperial German Army, all published from 1905 to 1918, most originally published in soft cover and rebound with hard covers with the collectors name ‘Dodkins’ on the exterior, a very informative set of manuals, reasonable condition (9)

A German Second World War Kriegsmarine Wehrpass. A Standard pattern wehrpass showing the quite older recipient in civilian dress, born in 1889, saw extensive service in WWI in an infantry unit, then transferring to the navy, served in the Kriegsmarine in WWII and transferred to the Landsturm in November 1944. Awarded Iron Cross 2nd Class 1918, in its green wehrpass cover with ‘Marine’ stamped to the exterior, reasonable condition
