A German Second World War Afrika Korps Visored Field Cap. A very nice size 54 or 55 well service used visored field cap for an artillery unit. Interestingly the cap is constructed from two totally different pieces of tropical cloth with the visor being of a darker olive than the upper part being of a tropical tan. Fitted with its correct Bevo woven blue on tan eagle and national cockade, red artillery waffenfarbe. The interior has seen considerable wear. There are faint traces of the maker stamp visible but unidentifiable, reasonable condition

The field grey Fez is the combat version, the red Fez is for dress occasions, Excellent condition complete with its full length tassel and a matching mint set of Waffen SS eagle and skull, complete with its inner sweatband and its original size 55 paper label attached to the inner side of the sweatband, extremely good condition
