Sonoma County CA. ~ Fif- ty-three hikers joined us for the
wonderful hike at Jack
London State Historic Park. Perhaps because we’re on the countdown to only six more hikes before retiring,
we
had a bigger than
usual
group… or maybe it was just the great weather. Please join
us Saturday, D ecember 7, as we hike at Armstrong Redwoods. This strenuous 8.5 mile hike, lasting approx- imately 4.5 hours, will climb up the East Ridge Trail. Great views await the hik-
ers before enjoying lunch at Bullfrog
Pond. The return
route will be down the Pool Ridge Trail. Total elevation
9:45 AM for a prompt 10 AM departure. Parking fees will apply, parking is limited, and carpooling is strongly encour- aged. Directions: From down- town Guerneville follow Arm- strong Woods Road north 2.5 miles to the park.
