Undercover Plant Lover Advice for gardeners from Chestnut Nursery


We love our plants and have a selection of hardy evergreens, winter fl owering shrubs and bedding available right through the cooler months.


After much fundraising and generous


donations, we welcome our new retail canopy and plant growing


polytunnel. Just in time


for winter, the canopy provides an undercover area outside the shop, so that all our healthy plants and loyal customers have protection from the elements.


The new polytunnel on the nursery provides a protected environment for our volunteers to raise and grow a wide selection of healthy plants throughout the year. There are big plans for growing a large selection in the new year and, in the meantime, we are busy potting up a range of fruit trees, soft fruit bushes, fl owering cherries and roses.


Our new stock of indoor and outdoor pots has arrived as well as exciting houseplants and gift ideas for your home. This year will see the return of Christmas trees and our Christmas market weekend, so save the date: Saturday November the 30th and Sunday the 1st of December. There will be refreshments available and all manner of plant and gardening related seasonal gifts. As well as gift wrapping, we will be offering custom planted containers for the ultimate treat. Pick from our range of decorative pots and plants, and we will pot and top dress it for you. As always, all funds raised go towards the charity.
