KYC is a venue situated just inside Broadway Road leading off from Oakford Cross, which not only holds the Youth Club twice a week for youngsters aged between 8-18 years, but the centre also offers a variety of facilities for hire. Ideal for businesses and organisations to hold meetings, there are two meeting rooms available with projector and screen facilities and free Wi-Fi. If you are looking for a venue to hold a party, a sports event or even just a general get-together with friends for a kick-about, or maybe a bit of fun playing pool (tables are FOC), a game of singles badminton, five-a-side foot- ball, basketball or even a bit of dancing, drama classes or even fitness classes, then Kingsteignton Youth Centre, could be the venue you are looking for. Exclusive use of the whole centre is always an option.
The facilities are accessible for wheelchair users and are suitable for use by adults as well as children and young people.
KYC sports hall measures approx. 17m x 9m. It
has recently had acoustic panels fitted to the ceiling and the floor has been marked out for badminton (singles), five-a-side football and basketball.
The kitchen adjoins the lounge with seating area,
making it the ideal place for a chat. The recreation & games room has a built-in disco area which features a TV screen for streaming music and videos,
a great
choice for children’s parties, as well as two pool tables if required.
Why not get a group of friends together in the school holidays and let the children play a variety of games and activities, whilst adults supervise and then have refreshments and a snack before leaving.
