Following Trinity Theatre’s inaugural appearance at Tom Kerridge’s Pub in the Park tour when it came to Tunbridge Wells in July – and the high praise received by those indulging in the tasters on offer – Trinity’s Kitchen & Bar manager Nikki Tucker (above with chef Atul Kochhar) and her team move into the autumn with a newly-designed menu. The increasingly popular Trinity ‘Kitchen & Bar’ at the theatre in the heart of the town will focus on flavour-packed wholesome lunches as part of the deli and salad bar, and monthly specials will now be a welcome offer for those who want to eat hearty, homemade dishes that pack a punch. The Kitchen team has developed the autumn season menu with the local community in mind. Businesses can now pick up one of the best coffees in Tunbridge Wells on the way into work, pre-order lunch for collection or put in a catering request for an event. Families forever on the quest to balance the tastes of the more sophisticated palates with those of the young, will find harmony in a heartbeat with the stunning array of cakes and treats on offer. In addition to the new menu and opening hours, the Kitchen & Bar will now collaborate with the artistic team on certain events, all geared to expand the experience of the visiting audience. Ticket holders to Posting Letters to the Moon will be able to indulge in a champagne afternoon tea, while Downton Abbey fans attending this autumn’s screening could dine in full Edwardian splendour as part of a one-off, limited ticket, “Dine at Downton” pre-screening experience. • The autumn menu launches to the public on 3rd September.
