NEW CEMETERY OPENS IN SEVENOAKS


Bluebell Cemetery is a new cemetery that has recently opened in Halstead, north of Sevenoaks, which will bring some relief to people looking for burial grounds either for themselves in the future, or for loved ones who have passed away. Visitors to the 28-acre cemetery are greeted by attractive areas of formal gardens and an air- conditioned modern chapel, which can be used for funeral and memorial services by all faiths. Making use of wellies in summer sunshine


Members of West Malling Beavers joined forces with residents of local Tonbridge residential care home Barnes Lodge to make the most of the late summer afternoons by planting donated fl owers within their old wellie boots. The Beavers donated their old boots, along with a plant each, for the residents to enjoy “Wellie Corner” in the garden.
